Whether this is your first baby or you have previously breastfed, getting off to a good start is critical because breastfeeding should be a pleasant experience for both mother and baby. We provide support, guidance, and assurance as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Early support and guidance are key.

Breakdown:

• Personalized Support makes education, individualized care, and consultations more accessible to mothers, as well as protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding by:​ (not limited to):​

  • Assessing both mother and baby, as well as a receiving a written plan to assist you in achieving your breastfeeding goals.

  • Understanding infant behavior and demonstrating hunger cues

  • Recommending nursing position & troubleshooting issues such as an improper latch, sore or cracked nipples, pain while nursing, and so on.

  • Ongoing support throughout your breastfeeding journey via phone, email, or follow-up consultations as questions or concerns arise.

  • Recommending reputable community resources or referrals for more complex care.​​​
